We are responsible for paying assigned employees' wages and provide them with the benefits that staffing firm offers to them; and staffing firm will provide valid reports of CNESST, Attestation de revenue Quebec and Sources of deduction  copies to client on monthly basis.

Pay, withhold, and transmit payroll taxes; provide unemployment  insurance and workers' compensation benefits; and handle unemployment and workers' compensation claims involving Assigned Employees;

Payroll services
Payroll is a human resources outsourcing solution that helps to reduce administrative costs and simplify the process of payroll management. There will be instances when you would like to hire an individual without including them on your firm's payroll. Adding hourly-paid  temporary employees to your payroll is a cost-effective  solution because the expenses associated with hiring short-term staff can be  significantly greater.

For each short-term employee, you will have to pay the following:
  • Quebec Pension Plan
  • Medicare
  • Employment Insurance
  • ​Quebec Parental Insurance Plan
  • Vacation Pay
  • Statutory Holidays 
  • Bank charges
  • Insurance
  • Payroll Traing Taxes
  • Commission de la santé et de la sécurité du travail
  • Administrative expenses
  • Payroll preparation expenses
  • ROE and T4 preparation expenses
To save time and money on your payroll expenses, SDDS will act as the official employer of record while the employee works  for your  company. We will pay the employee on a weekly basis and handle all the payroll costs, related  expenses and legal documents. This way, you can focus on your business and save time and money on your seasonal staff. Furthermore, you can retain valuable employees and hire the right people  without including them on your internal payroll.

We simply bill you an amount equal to the employee's pay rate, plus a mark-up. The mark-up includes  all payroll costs and related expenses. The percentage may vary according  to the volume of employees being payrolled.

SDDS pays on a bi-weekly basis. Your pay check will be ready on the Friday of your second week. You have until 5:00 p.m. to pick up your cheque at our office.

Assistance throughout your contract
  • ​We will track the progression of candidates and employers through our on-site coordinator
  • ​The on-site coordinator will represent the firm on the client's premises
  • We have the right to physically inspect the work site and work processes
  • We can review and address assigned employee work performance issues 
  • We will remove poor performing candidates based on prior performance in order to enforce SDDS's  employment policies in relation to employee conduct​​

Transportation Services

SDDS  provides transportation services for workers who are required to travel a significant distances for work. 

Health and Safety Services
We proritize your safety while working with us. In any work environment, accidents can be avoided by being cautious, diligent and by following proper procedures.

You must acquaint yourself with our clients' health safety. procedures as you are expected to adhere to them at all times. All precarious working conditions should be reported  immediately to your SDDS consultant.
  1. Do not, under any circumstances, undertake any task  that you consider to be unsafe without appropriate training  or guidance.
  2. Only operate  equipment  that you are trained and authorized to use. Report any defective or damaged equipment to your on-site coordinator immediately
  3. You must be aware of all the locations of the fire exits and the fastest routes. to access them 
  4. If protective clothing or equipment is necessary in the execution of your tasks, you are expected to wear it. Should these items need to be replaced, inform your on-site supervisor immediately
